About Mary

Hey there! Mary is New York City based actor originally from a little of everywhere (but most recently, Dallas)

As a child, Mary started her life as a performer through figure skating and piano. Once she realized she could get the rush of performing without the bruises from trying to land her double axel, she turned to the stage.
She has her BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University and has worked regionally in both known and beloved shows and in several new works. Some notable credits in the “known and beloved” category Mary Poppins, Grease, The King and I, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.
Of the several workshops, staged readings, and first staged premieres of new works that she’s been a part of, some highlights were playing Juliet in a Shakespearean feminist folk musical, a sassy secretary in a jazzy musical set in the Golden Age of Hollywood, and Ellen in the world premiere of Rogers and Hammerstein’s official Oklahoma! In Concert.

Offstage, Mary loves to travel and helps others do so as a professional travel planner. When she’s home, Mary is an avid baker, craft-collector (most recent: crocheting!), and reader.
Of all the special skills on her resume, she’s most proud of the ability to fold those collapsable self-tape backdrops on the very first try. Every. Time.
